Children’s Health Relaxation

Begin with your favourite children’s induction and Deepener from Hypnotic World.

Close your eyes and pretend you are asleep. Pretend that you are sound asleep and even if there is the loudest noise pretend you can’t wake up because you are so sleepy. Your body is so quiet and relaxed and completely still.

Pretend you can’t move and if someone picks up your arm and drops it, your arm would flop down like a little rag doll because you are so relaxed.

Be a little floppy rag doll now.

Pick up and drop arm onto the child’s lap or bed or soft chair.

You are as quiet and still as a warm soft sleeping puppy or a warm little kitten.

Very good. Now I am going to say some letters and with each letter, you are going to become even more relaxed and loose and limp as that rag doll.

Use the letters of the child’s name.

N – you body is so still – A – you are pretending to be so sleepy – T – your feel woozy and relaxed – A. You are very peaceful – you are like a little baby animal sleeping – L – you feel quiet because you are good at imagining – I – more relaxed and E = so calm and peaceful. All of those letters spelt your name, Natalie, because this is all about you.

Now, I am going to ask you a question, Do you like being sick?

Wait for the answer NO.

Good because you can stop. You don’t like being sick. You don’t want to be sick so you now are just going to stop.

Short pause.

You can start being healthy now and you can always be healthy for the rest of your life. Some kids are never sick. Some kids are healthy ALL the time.

You can be just like those healthy kids. Healthy kids amaze themselves, and their doctors, their teachers and their moms!

Are you ready to make yourself healthy by using your own mind? Nod your head if you are – Good.

I want you to imagine and pretend that the room is full of green air or mist. See green air everywhere.

Maybe it looks like green fog. Use your imagination. It is very green and pretty just like the greenest colour you’ve ever seen like green paint or crayons or even the greenest grass.

Tell me when the room is filled with green air – good. You have a great imagination.

The green air is clean and healthy. The green air is filled with healthy vitamins and minerals. Just like broccoli and spinach and green peas and every healthy thing and it smells fresh and good.

You know green, green vegetables are so good for you right? They make you strong and healthy. But you don’t have to eat these vegetables all you have to do is take a deep breath and breathe them in. Do that now – Good, you are already starting to feel healthier.

Every breath you take whether you are taking big breaths or small ones causes you to become stronger and healthier. Take another deep, big breath and make yourself even healthier and stronger now – breathing in the healthy clean green air – and one more breathing in the vitamins and minerals in the green air

Breathing in that healthy stuff just like what’s in healthy vegetables like broccoli and spinach and green peas. Good.

Now when we have been sick we have unhealthy germs and things called toxins inside so now to get rid of those, breathe out all the way – until there is no more air in your lungs.

Push the germs out of your lungs with all of your strength. Imagine them leaving your body and going far away from you never to return.

What do they look like? Are they ugly? Breathe them out again. Breath out anything inside that is unhealthy.

Good – breath in and out. Breathing in brings in healthy green air – breathing out pushes out germs and toxins and anything unhealthy.

From now on only good stuff comes into your body and the bad leaves your body – far away from you. Breathe in and out for awhile. In health – out – unhealthy toxins and germs.

Now the room is even greener than before so breathe THAT in too. Good. Now you are amazingly healthy and strong just like Popeye, just like a superhero!

See yourself running, jumping and laughing. See yourself doing fun stuff and feeling strong and healthy! See yourself riding your bike, jumping rope. You are so strong and healthy now.

From now on you are healthy all the time. You will amaze your self at how strong and energetic you are. There might be kids all around you who are sick but you are healthy all the time.

Seeing sick kids at school just causes you to be happy that you are always healthy. Every day you are strong and healthy. You love being healthy because you can play and have fun when you feel great – and you do feel great! You feel fantastic – full of energy and health.

From now on anytime you see someone who is sick or your hear anyone talking about illness of any kind you will close your eyes and imagine the green healthy air and you will take a deep breath and breathe it in! This will cause you to be twice as healthy as before.

No matter what you hear or see or feel or do you are always strong.

You have a strong immune system. That is the part of your body that fights off illness.

You have a perfectly healthy heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys. ALL of your body’s systems work perfectly well together. Your bones and ligaments and joints are also powerfully strong. You are strong and perfectly healthy from head to toe!

Now you have done very well at imagining but it is time to wake up and be healthy. I wonder if you will begin to feel healthy right after you awaken or in an hour. Let’s see. I am going to count from one to five and when I say five you will be awake and feel much better – one – two – three – four – five.
